Greetings again to all.

I am sharing this with you as I am one of those choosing to participate in the focus group and I would like to recruit you to do the same.

Those who use NFB-NEWSLINE regularly, I am sure, can offer a wealth of information on how the service could be improved and made even
better. We are also looking for participants who, for whatever
reason, have not yet ventured into explored the service.

Just follow the instructions in the attachment and email your time preferences and word choices in to the email address provided.

Thank you and hope to run into some of you in my selected time slot.

If you know someone who is a user of the service who you think would be interested in participating feel free to circulate this email. As stated earlier we also want input from those who may have not yet tried NFB-NEWSLINE.

Subject: [State-Affiliate-Leadership-List] Seeking Participants for NFB-NEWSLINE Focus Groups

Dear National Federation of the Blind Leaders:

We want to learn more about how we can improve NFB-NEWSLINE. To that end we have contracted with Deloitte to conduct focus groups and a survey. You will be receiving the survey sometime next week. We are looking for people to participate in a 90-minute focus group.
Participants will be a mixture of those who use NFB-NEWSLINE and those who do not. We want to be sure to include input from those who do not use the system in order to understand what might make them more likely to use NFB-NEWSLINE. Please promote this plan.

To be considered for one of the focus groups, please complete the attached Focus Group Pre-Work Form and email it to Lia at lparkerbelfer at deloitte.com. Please complete the attached form by Tuesday, June 2, 2020. If you have any questions about the focus groups or would like to complete the form over the telephone, please call Lia at 202-306-6822.

We anticipate that this information will be pivotal in planning future enhancements to NFB-NEWSLINE.

Also, keep in mind that if you are not able to participate in one of the focus groups you will still have an opportunity to participate in the survey.

Thanks for your help!

John
