The below research participant solicitation is being provided for
informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no
involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our
research mission.
ADULT PARTICIPANTS WANTED FOR PAID RESEARCH STUDY
Clemson University
Participatory Design of Self-Driving Vehicles Study
The Design and Research of In-Vehicle Experiences (DRIVE) Lab is seeking
individuals to participate in a study that explores how to design
self-driving vehicles to be accessible for people with disabilities.
Participants will engage in 5 bi-weekly collaborative sessions to design the
interior of a self-driving vehicle to fit the needs of passengers with
disabilities.
Eligibility Requirements: Participants must meet the following:
* Be a at least 18 years of age.
* Identify as having a disability (e.g., visual, hearing,
cognitive/intellectual, motor)
Incentive: Participants will be compensated with a $50 gift card after each
session.
