A few reminders:

Please note a few important meetings and events coming up in NFB of SC all
on our zoom platform. Please insure all know about these events.

It is highly encouraged that all attend these two events and encourage
others to attend. Our Palmetto Connects has changed time to allow those who
work to attend. Our attendance is hovering at around 60 individuals which is
less than 10% of all of NFB of SC membership. Let's work together to get
this number higher.

Friday, February 19

Trivia Night with the NFB of SC, 8:00 p.m.

If you or others wish to participate in trivia night, please call Steve Cook

If you just wish to observe, you do not need to call or email him.

If anyone is not on our listserv and have email, please have them email or
call Steve Cook. This is the best way to gather information from the NFB of
SC. We now have a listserv for technology so our messages to the NFB of SC
listserv are not as many.

If you have paid dues and are not getting calls from the NFB of SC about
Palmetto Connects or other events through text or calls, please call or

All leaders in the NFB of SC including chapter and division presidents along
with board members from Federation Center, NFB of SC and Rocky Bottom Board
are highly encouraged to attend our leadership seminar on April 10. This
seminar is not just limited to leaders; everyone from everyone can attend.
If you plan to attend, please call David Houck at the Center at 803-254-3777
or email him at nfbsc at sc.rr.com <mailto:nfbsc at sc.rr.com>  to let him know if
you will attend in-person or via zoom. Those who let him know by April 5,
will have their name entered into several $50 gift card drawings.

Please encourage your members and others to join PAC. Our contest goes
through May 31. If you increase your plan, you will have your name entered
into a drawing; if you join PAC, you have your name entered into the
drawing; they are two separate drawings. Let's bring SC in the top five. We
are currently 13. I encourage your chapters, divisions, members and
yourselves to jump on or increase your plan.

A reminder we are having a fund-raiser for NFB of SC, a talent show on March
20. Information about how to enter was noted in the Positive Note. This is a
great opportunity to raise money for the Palmetto affiliate. All talents
welcome! Please share with your members and others. This is being advertised
strongly outside of SC as well.

Committee notes are to be sent to all committee members and me shortly after
each committee meeting please.

Also, we have nearly 20 committees in the Palmetto affiliate. Let's make
everyone aware of how they can use their talents in the NFB of SC to build
our affiliate.

If you are on a committee, please make all effort to attend. We cannot build
the Federation and move it forward with just a few individuals.
