The National Federation of the Blind welcomes all blind people, parents of
blind children, blind students, those losing vision, and more. We are a
family of members and friends that knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. You can live the life you
want.
How to Join
Federation of the Blind is to attend a chapter or division meeting in your
local area. You can find your nearest chapter or division meeting by
reaching out to your state affiliate president. Membership in a chapter or
division will automatically grant you membership in your state affiliate and

Subject: Dollar General Literacy Grants and Kurzweil
This if from Cami Griffith <mailto:Cami.Griffith at kurzweiledu.com> from
Kurzweil Education <https://www.kurzweiledu.com/default.html>
As part of Kurzweil Education's continued commitment to help our partners,
we would like to highlight Dollar General's grants for literacy support,
with awards up to $10,000. The grant applications are currently available
for Youth Literacy, Family Literacy, Summer Reading and Adult Literacy until
February 8th and 18th respectively.
Please note the link/page for the Dollar General Literacy Foundation
<https://www.dgliteracy.org/grant-programs/> contains the Grants Program
tab and where the Apply Link will be found. Additionally, the link shows
those in your area who were awarded in 2020. The application takes about
10-15 minutes and does not require detailed, intensive information.
