Free White Cane Program 

The National Federation of the Blind has distributed more than 64,000 free white canes since 2008.

The white cane gives blind people the ability to achieve a full and independent life, allowing us to travel freely and safely. We started our free white cane program because we believe that no blind person should be without a white cane, regardless of his or her ability to pay for it.

Hello All!

 

This went out to the chapter presidents listserv for NFB nationals. Hope all of my NFB of SC family will join us!

 

Our audio described Christmas with the Cranks event was a huge success. Individuals wanted to have an interactive activity this month so the NFB of SC is hosting name that tune on Friday, January 15 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

 

Come join us from anywhere. We would love to have you!

 

We will have fun Friday nights at least once per month! Be on the lookout for additional fun nights hosted by the NFB of SC!
