[NFBofSC] A Trip to Egypt!

Hello everyone!

The Keystone Chapter of the NFB of PA would like to invite you on a trip to
Egypt! Yes, that's right, a virtual audio trip! Through a program for blind
and visually impaired individuals at University of Pennsylvania Museum of
Archeology and Anthropology, we are excited to be able to share this
opportunity to take a virtual audio tour of ancient Egypt. The tour will be
narrated and include audio artifact clips and sounds from that time period.
This tour is for everyone, young and old, history lovers, travel
enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys learning about the world!

 

Over the last several years, our chapter has participated in several touch
tours at the Penn Museum and it is always an experience to remember. How
awesome it is to be able to go into a museum and literally touch artifacts
over 4000 years old! Due to the pandemic, the Penn Museum has now
transformed these tours into audio tours. 

 

This tour is approximately 1 hour short. Though it is not a fundraiser, we
are collecting donations of $3 a person to give back to the Penn Museum to
help defray the costs of running these one-of-a-kind programs. Donations can
be made via Paypal or by writing a check to our chapter treasurer David
Goldstein. Once all the money is collected, we will make out a check
directly to the Penn Museum. David's address is 1425 Parklane Road

want everyone to be able to experience this tour!
