[NFBofSC] Rocky Bottom

[NFB Lab 4]

Hello fellow Federationists,

This past weekend, Tracy, Nicholas, Rider Compten, and I went to the camp
for a visit and to greet people who were renting the grounds for Saturday
afternoon.

This group was the Asheville Porsche Club, who was using Rocky Bottom as a
picnic and gathering point for their ride to the summit of Sassafras
Mountain. This group was led by Bob Disney, who had made all of the
arrangements with Susanne and me 

 

There were about 45 people attending, and after passing the hat, donated
$570 to Rocky Bottom.

 

I would like to thank these generous people so much for their support.

 

Also, thanks to Patricia Cheatham who got us up there and back, and David
Bundy for donating a Lowe's $100 gift card to buy things for Rocky Bottom. .

 

Cassandra Richardson, from the Columbia Chapter, has booked a family reunion
weekend at Rocky Bottom this summer. We still have time on our schedule for
other families to do the same.
