Subject: Sunrise and Shine Thursday, November 11th - Trivia Time on a Veterans DayHoliday

Hello to all Sunrise and Shine Fans!

With some time on the road for me these past several days, (happy 88th birthday to Mom), this notice is going out much later than I’d like but I hope you can forgive me and still make our regular Sunrise and Shine Zoom call tomorrow, November 11th at 9:00 AM. I hope too when you hear about our extra special event, you’ll be even more forgiving and will bring your pj’s and a hot cup of coffee or tea for some Veterans Day fun. As promised during our last call, we’re bringing back trivia. Trivia Time with ‘Rise and Shine has been a big hit for so many over our past couple of years. Although we had a Friday night version of trivia at our recent NFB of Florida Convention, we didn’t have the fun of competition and bragging rights. We’ll have that tomorrow for sure. We’ll also have a terrific Trivia Time co-host. Kaye Baker will be joining in to help ask questions, form teams, maybe keep score and wait on tables with extra beverages and doughnuts, (at least that’s my plan…she might have other ideas).

This will be our only Sunrise and Shine for November, so now is a good time to ask you to mark your calendars for our next gathering on Thursday, December 9th at 9:00 AM. What’s on tap for that Zoom meeting, your guess is as good as mine, or maybe you can give me a great suggestion.

If you haven’t been to one of our calls before, joining us at 9:00 AM for coffee or tea will give you a chance to find out what you’ve been missing. We always take time for welcoming new guest speakers and participants and for lots of warmth and laughter.

Most of us have become pretty familiar with attending meetings using the Zoom platform over the past year and in fact, we’ve been using Zoom since we launched Rise and Shine last year. If you’re not used to using Zoom or if it’s still giving you difficulties, don’t give up just yet. You can access the meeting by clicking on he below listed web link, by using the one tap mobile feature or by dialing the phone number provided and entering the access code when prompted.

The regulars on our call are always warm and welcoming and are thrilled to see new faces.

Hope to have you with us Thursday morning, see below for the Zoom info.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me before the call at our NFB Newsline of Florida toll-free support line. Check the bottom of this email for the Zoom call-in instructions.
