[NFBofSC] Feedback Requested: NFB of SC in Communities of Faith Constitution

Is it not a requirement of our state constitution? Besides our state
treasurer license only covers her and the state affiliate. Will she be
handling all the money  and etc? If so this means none of us board members
will be handling funds, Correct?

Thanks for your idea.

 

I do not think this will be necessary as President Bazer pointed out on our
Monday evening call that our affiliate Treasurer is bonded, and the
Communities of Faith Division funds would be housed in the affiliate
account. Ultimately, someone is still bonded, but it will not be the
division's Secretary/Treasurer.

Hello Elizabeth,

Thank you for your hard work on this matter.

The only suggestion I have is to reinstate the Treasurer be Bonded. This
protects the Treasurer, Division and State Affiliate. It also  protects the
money from the investee and donor. I believe if it was important for the
national Affiliate, it should be important to us.
