I just got this email today from JDRF about a bill that evidently very recently has been drafted for the Senate to cap The cost of insulin. Does anyone have any other information about this senate bill?

Dear Supporter,

A major opportunity to make insulin more affordable is pending in the U.S. Senate and JDRF needs YOUR help to build support! Senate Diabetes Caucus Co-Chairs Jeanne Shaheen and Susan Collins announced a bipartisan bill that includes a $35 per month co-pay cap, removes insulin from the deductible, and creates a pathway to reverse runaway insulin list prices.

This bill, the INSULIN Act, will have a significant impact on lowering the cost of insulin whether you have insurance or not and is the ONLY solution currently available that could get the 60 votes needed to pass the U.S. Senate. However, your help is critical to make this happen!

Contact your Senators today and urge them to support the INSULIN Act to make insulin more affordable.?

Thank you!
JDRF
