Blind Equality Achievement Month (BEAM) Auction

Fashion makes a beautiful and positive statement!

The National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska (NFBN) Senior Division is
using an on-line auction boldly to promote a positive impression of
blindness. We will be auctioning off four designer hoodies. All garments
sport colorful graphics including long white canes. The designs of hoodies
1, 2, and 3 are set, "What you bid on is what you get". With hoodie 4 our
WILD CARD option, the winner may choose from all comparable graphic design
templates in the designer's catalog. With all four hoodies, you get to pick
the color (from the variety she has on hand) and size (small, up to 5X); All
hoodies are pull-over-the head, classic adult unisex sweatshirts having a
large hood with drawstring and a large pouch pocket on the front. They are
made from 90% cotton/ 10% poly and are cozy and fuzzy on the inside.

Goal: The proceeds are intended to assist one or more newly blind seniors to
attend the NFB of Nebraska affiliate's state convention in March of 2023. We
all know the positive effects upon a person new to blindness when the
opportunity comes to experience being among a group of highly motivated and
successful blind people of all ages. To participate in the auction, continue
reading.

To donate in support of our efforts, without bidding on a hoodie, please
