Thank you for this news. I will not, and cannot at this time, add to Vicki's
statements. All I can say is that I will miss him but know, as has been
said, that his life is so much better now while each of our lives on Earth
are immensely less because of the loss of Marshall, rest in peace.

It is with a heavy heart that I report the death of Marshall Tucker at
around 6:15 this morning. He was in comfort care at Lexington Hospital after
a severe fall last Saturday. Arrangements are pending. A life well
lived--far beyond the intrigue of the wordly fame of his name--a man who was
so much more than the name of a music group. He served his God and the NFB
with distinction.
