Good afternoon, all
The Braille Literacy Committee will meet for its final committee meeting
ahead of state convention on Monday, July 17th at 6:30 pm on the Palmetto
zoom. This change was made to make it easier on schedules around national
convention week. If you're interested in possibly participating in the
committee in the future, I'd highly suggest attending this meeting so that
you can let the chairs know you're interested and to "get a feel" for what
we're working toward.
The agenda will go as follows:
Brief introductions
Brief yearly overview of what has been accomplished since August of 2022
Briefly review current initiatives and which ones we are most likely
planning to move forward with
Briefly begin to discuss creating a podcast on the functional usage of
Braille across ages, abilities, and levels of skill to be released during
BEAM month in October
