2023 Scholarship Announcement

 

May is upon us!  That means it is time to start donating to the 2023 NFB of
SC Scholarship Program.  The state convention will be August 18-20, 2023.
The application deadline is at 11:59 p.m. June 20, 2023.  That means all
components of the scholarship application must be received by this deadline.
As in recent years, the committee will select the top three applicants, and
they will be notified approximately one month prior to the state convention.
The updated scholarship application can now be completed online at
<http://www.nfbofsc.org> www.nfbofsc.org.  Please also remember that the
scholarship program operates on donations exclusively.  If you or your
chapter would like to contribute a scholarship or make a donation to the
Dorothy Barksdale Metro Fund, please get in touch with both me, Shannon

605-4250) and Valerie Warrington, NFB of SC Treasurer at
<mailto:vwarrington at att.net> vwarrington at att.net.  Feel free to go to
<http://www.nfbofsc.org> www.nfbofsc.org and click on the Donate Now link
and put "Scholarship" in the Send A Note Field when you are making your
donation. Also, please help us get the word out about the program.  If you
or someone you know is in school full time, please encourage them to apply
for a scholarship!  Thank you.
