Hello Fellow Federationists,

On September 25, 2023, at 8 PM ET, the Black Elected Leaders, one of the
workgroups of the National Organization of Blind Black Leaders, a proud
division of the National Federation of the Blind will have a program
featuring young leaders in the National Federation of the Blind. This is
your opportunity to hear from three young leaders in our movement. Our
guests will be Qualik Ford, Sara Luna, and Joshua Olukanni. 

Qualik Ford is the President of the Maryland Association of Blind Students
and serves on the Board of Directors of the NFB of Maryland. 

 Sara Luna serves on the NFB of Illinois Board of Directors, is the 2d Vice
President of the Illinois Association of Blind Students and  2d Vice
President of the National Association of Blind Students. 

Joshua Olukanni is President of the Minnesota Association of Blind Students
and is a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of
Blind Students.

We will ask them to share a little about their backgrounds. As an
icebreaker, we will find out what is there favorite book, television show or
movie? We will find out what brought them to the Federation? What impact has
the Federation and our philosophy had on their lives? What impact do they
hope to make as young leaders in the Federation? 

You will also be able to ask questions of these dynamic leaders. 

All are invited to join.
