[NFBofSC] Braille Literacy prize drawing!!!

Don’t forget about the prize drawing at the state convention this weekend! The newly released blind Barbie dolls have garnered much attention on social media in the last few weeks. Participate in our prize drawing and you could get the chance to have the item that has caused such a commotion in the blind community! And you don’t even have to contribute financially to participate. In order to get your chance, simply find and keep a Braille item from the exhibit hall, and turn it in to a committee member with your name somewhere on it. Another option is to find an item for sale in the exhibit hall with Braille packaging and rewrite the item name  on a paper with your name to turn in. Remember that if you identify your name in Braille, you will get 2 chances to win! You might want to think about packing a slate to bring for the weekend, but if you realize you forgot, Jamie will have slates to lend. Chances are there will be many other members around with a slate on hand. Be sure to have this in to Jamie, Shelley, Tracy, Lenora, or Linda before the end of afternoon session on Saturday. A winner will be drawn and announced before adjourning.
