David, thank you for this information. I also want to remind everyone that
there is no activation charge for cards purchased through the At Large
Chapter. We have plenty of time before the state convention to order gift
cards and I strongly encourage chapters and individuals to use this
opportunity to assist another chapter.

Last night during Palmetto Connect, Marty suggested donating gift cards from
the AT-Large Chapter  as door prizes for the convention.  I would like to
take this opportunity to remind everyone how to do this.  

 

The At-Large chapter has an on-going fund raiser with RaiseRight.  When you
purchase gift cards from them for hundreds of merchants at face value,  the
At-Large Chapter receives a percentage that varies according to the
merchant.  Some of these include Wal-Mart, Target, Amazon, Marriott
(including Embassy Suites), Walgreen's, Food Lion, Visa, and hundreds more!
