each year. The recipient must be there to receive the award.

You may nominate a member of the NFB of SC who you believe has gone
that extra mile and then some as Dr. Capps used to say. Tell us about
their service to the blind locally, statewide and nationally. Tell us
about what really stands out about their service. We must receive the
nominations by Friday, July 26 in order to make a decision and have
the plaque made. Every year we receive good candidates. If others
support your nomination, have them write in too.
