[NFBofSC] Midlands Gives - The Day After

Good Evening Federation Family,

 

Midlands Gives was very successful for the National Federation of the Blind
of South Carolina! The NFB of SC had a final total of $10,355, meeting our
generous match from the Cheerful Giver of $5,000. There were just under 20
people at the Federation Center working diligently to process donations,
particularly during the Power Hour for Rocky Bottom.

 

Rocky Bottom did not win the Power Hour, but Valerie learned just after 4:00
p.m. that RBRCCB won the Nelson Mullins Midday Motivation Award which
carried a prize of $2,000. The grand total for Rocky Bottom is $4,332.00.

 

Both Rocky Bottom and the NFB of SC are grateful to all who gave so
generously to help us make the day a huge success! The hard work of Valerie
Warrington and the Midlands Gives team made all the difference this year.
Thanks to everyone who assisted in any way at all to make the day such a
huge success!
