📣 SCABL Announcement! 📣

🔹Have you ever experienced a “loss for words” when asked to speak in front of a crowd?

🔹Have you noticed your heart racing, your palms feel clammy and/or your legs suddenly feel like noodles when you have to speak in public?

If you answered “yes”to either of these questions know that you are not alone.  So, to build great leaders who can conquer the fears surrounding public speaking the South Carolina Association of Black Leaders (SCABL) division is launching a Master Public Speaking series.  Our goal is to provide our NFB family with the tools and skills they need to take charge of public speaking, which will improve confidence.

Thus Thursday, May 16, 2024 @7:00pm ET is the first of our summer long series.  All series dates are listed as followed as:

After completing the Public Speaking series our members get to show-off their improved skills and challenge themselves by participating in the SCABL Public Speaking competition.  This competition will happen during the SC affiliates’s 2024 statewide convention.  The 2024 convention runs  from August 15 - 18, 2024.  More information about the competition and the prizes will be given at a later date.

This series is a DON’T MISS event for all who want to get better at public speaking (even if you decide to not join the SCABL Public Speaking competition).
