Join us for an inspiring conversation with Evan Schwerbrock, also known as The Blind Strength Coach! He and his lovely wife are current residence of Columbia South Carolina and we look forward to hearing what he can offer to us here in the South Carolina area
When: Tuesday, November 26, at 6 PM
Where: Palmetto Zoom (details below)
Evan combines his expertise in kinesiology (Master’s degree, four years teaching at the college level) and professional certifications with his lived experience as someone with visual impairment (LHON). Through his journey, Evan has made exercise and health more accessible to the blind community.
Evan doesn’t just teach; he leads by example:
Winner of Illinois Strongest Man
America’s Strongest Athlete with Disabilities
2nd place at the Adaptive Strength World Championships
He is the World’s Strongest Blind Man—the first person with vision loss to achieve this distinction.
Beyond competing, Evan is dedicated to helping others with vision loss live healthier, happier lives. He hosts fitness workshops with partner organizations, offers remote customized coaching, shares free resources on his Cane and Able Fitness website, and provides valuable tips on Instagram and YouTube.
Don’t miss this chance to hear Evan’s story, ask questions, and gain insights into living a healthy, empowered life!
