Hello, Sunrise and Shine Family, 

 

It’s time to cover a topic that might feel a bit overdue, that being NFB-NEWSLINE®. We remember from all of our previous calls throughout these past 4 plus years just how many facets there are with the wonderful audio information service. Because Thursday’s call won’t try and tackle everything about the free to use service, I knew I had to pick out one very interesting feature. I think I found just the right one.

 

With so many things happening in the world we live in daily, it’s hard to keep up. One terrific way of knowing what’s going on around you though, is to utilize the “Breaking News” tool within NFB-NEWSLINE. When we get together on Thursday, September 12th at 9:00 AM, we’ll take a deep dive into Breaking News and will have lots of fun in the process.

 

I hope you can join us and hope also that you’ll tell your friends about our terrific call and help make sure that they can join us too.

 

 

If you haven’t been to one of our calls before, joining us at 9:00 AM for coffee or tea will give you a chance to find out what you’ve been missing. We always take time for welcoming new guest speakers and participants and for lots of warmth and laughter.

 

Most of us have become pretty familiar with attending meetings using the Zoom platform over the past few years and in fact, we’ve been using Zoom since we launched Rise and Shine way back on April 16th2020. If you’re not used to using Zoom or if it’s still giving you difficulties, don’t give up just yet. You can access the meeting by clicking on he below listed web link, by using the one tap mobile feature or by dialing the phone number provided and entering the access code when prompted.

 

The regulars on our call are always warm and welcoming and are thrilled to see new faces.
