Thank you for remembrance of my sister Romona. She is deeply missed by her family and those who knew and loved her.

Subject: [NFBofSC] Convention 2025 Poem
Ramona McCansts, August’s tender breeze, From Charleston’s shore, now sails at ease.
Tom Coulter, October’s quiet grace, From Rock Hill’s hills, now in Heaven’s embrace.
Ernest Gaulman, October’s steadfast flame, From Columbia’s streets, we call your name.
Pat Wolthoff, December’s faithful light, From Columbia’s heart, still burning bright.
Cynthia Denise Diggs, with January skies, From Sumter’s home, your spirit flies.
Katie Jackson, March’s gentle bloom, From Columbia’s heart, no winter’s gloom.
Edna Johnson, May’s bright song, In Columbia’s arms, you still belong.
Shelton Nicole Smith, May’s final days, From Cherokee’s hills, we lift our praise.
Barbara Baxter, July’s soft light, From Sumter’s fold to Heaven’s height.
Though eyes may close, love does not fade, Your work, your dreams, the marks you made— They live in us, in every voice, In every heart, in every choice.
So here we stand, with tears and pride, Our Federation’s light as guide, To honor you, our cherished friends, Till time is full, and journey ends. ⸻
