Positive Note: 2053

Dear Federation Family,

In an effort to make it to all chapter Christmas parties over time, I
traveled to Rock Hill Friday evening to attend the Rock Hill Chapter
Christmas Party. There were approximately 40 people present including
children and adults. Other guests included Thom and Tracy Spittle, Pastor
Lynn Shore-Hollis and her husband, Scott along with several members of the
Rock Hill Lions Club. The evening was filled with laughter, music, good food
and lots of gifts. I brought greetings from the State Office and a good time
was had by all! The drawing took place for their quilt fundraiser and it was
won by Jenny Ayers who assists the chapter in a number of ways.

On Saturday, I traveled to Anderson to attend the Anderson Chapter Christmas
party. There was a lively gathering in the room where the party was held.
There were door prizes, a beautiful devotion, and wonderful music. The Mount
Miriah Men's Choir provided beautiful Christmas music along with other
chapter members. The feeling of Federation love was strong in the air at
this Christmas party. President Demetrius Williford certainly knows how to
do things right!

do not need to be present to win.

NFB of SC Statewide Seminar

The National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina Statewide Seminar
will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the Federation Center of
the Blind beginning at 10:00 a.m. This will be an exciting kick-off to 2026
and I look forward to seeing you there. Chapter presidents should let David
Houck know how many are attending by close of business on Monday, January 5,
2026 so that food preparations can be made. Call David at 803-254-3777 or
