[NFBofSC] Rose Parade and New Years specials will air with AD

Below is an overview of various New Years (Eve) specials that will air with
audio description:

The 137th Tournament of Roses Parade will air with live AD on January 1,
2026, from 8 AM to 10 AM Pacific, or 11 AM to 1 PM Eastern:

*	ABC: ABC Television will present the full ABC broadcast with live
audio description on the Secondary Audio Program channel (SAP) provided by
Audio Eyes.
*	NBC: "To create a more inclusive experience for blind and visually
impaired viewers, NBCUniversal is proud to present the full NBC broadcast
with live audio description on the Secondary Audio Program channel (SAP),
provided by Descriptive Video Works. The broadcast will be available with
additional audio narration, describing the visuals of the parade" (NBC press

In addition, the following New Years specials will air with prerecorded AD:

*	NBC: A Toast to 2025!, December 31 at 10:30 PM
*	ABC: 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, January 1 at
8 PM

information about the frequency and type of problem
