The Talking Thermometer
The Talking Thermometer is a kitchen staple for anyone cooking with protein, as it allows the home chef to ensure that their meals are cooked deliciously and to a safe temperature. Image Description: This image is a close up of Chef Debra's hands holding a platter of freshly made Frenched Chicken Pilons (drumsticks). Chef Debra is wearing an orange chef coat and a white Blind Kitchen apron. This recipe features chicken drumsticks with a clean bone sticking up out of the roasted chicken meat. This platter is garnished with fresh rosemary and lemons.
Featured Recipe: Frenched Chicken Pilons (drumsticks)
A healthy and inexpensive way to create a beautiful presentation! We love recipes that look complicated but secretly are very easy and very impressive for our guests! Cleaning the upper bone of each drumstick is a very tactile experience that works well for the vision-impaired. The result is delicious herby chicken that is a delight to the tastebuds!

TBK Tip of the Month: Using a Scraps Bowl
Repurposing a tip from Rachel Ray, we found this was a brilliant hack for any chef. Using a scraps bowl is a simple idea that saves cleanup and reduces mess. For the vision-impaired chef this is a wonderful habit to get into whenever preparing a meal.
