Meet Tom Tobin, a Development Professional with 35 Years Experience:

Tom has worked as a development professional for over 35 years and currently runs his own consulting firm. He has lived experience managing Type 1 diabetes with vision loss.

He previously served as Chief Development Officer of Cleveland Sight Center, as Vice President of Development/Communications at The Hadley Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Tom was a contract employee of the American Council of the Blind and President of the ACB Blind Diabetics in Action special interest affiliate.

Tom currently serves on the Accessible Insulin Pump Taskforce which is a collaborative effort of the American Council of the Blind, the National Federation of the Blind, and the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.Tom graduated from University School and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Kenyon College.
