Positive Note 2044
Dear Federation Family,
We begin this Positive Note by congratulating Frank Loza and Gerald McMurray
for directing Senior Camp which was a roaring success! Other camp staff
included Pathronda Anderson, Anita Beasley, Barry Chavis, Isaiah Nelson and
Lenora Robertson. Lenora led the kitchen crew and the others worked wherever
they were needed. There were fourteen enthusiastic campers and a good time
was had by all. Once Frank and Gerald recover, an article will be published
about Senior Camp. Folks are already looking forward to the next one!
Something Old and Something New from Steve Cook
I am excited to share some wonderful news-please help us spread the word!
Did you miss the inspiring presentation from the South Carolina Association
of Black Leaders on September 18, 2025? Don't worry-you now have the chance
to hear it for the first time or enjoy it again! Wendell Price delivered a
powerful presentation on leadership that offers valuable insights for us
all. You can now access this presentation through the "National Federation
of the Blind of South Carolina" Podcast, which is officially back and better
than ever! All previous episodes are also available for your listening
pleasure. You can find our podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts-just search
for us and don't forget to subscribe so you never miss new content! But
that's not all. I am thrilled to announce the launch of our official YouTube
channel! That's right-search for "Official National Federation of the Blind
of SC" on YouTube, and be sure to like, subscribe, and share. Wendell's
presentation is also available on this platform for easy access and sharing.
I would love to hear from you! If you have any suggestions for future
podcast episodes or YouTube content, feel free to reach out to me at
SteveCookWebmaster at nfbofs.org. Thank you for your continued support!
