Subject: Introducing Federation Foundations
Dear Federation Family,
At the last NFB of SC board meeting, the board discussed moving away from
Palmetto Connects. It served its purpose during and after COVID, but its
time has come to an end.
Now, we are introducing Federation Foundations. It will take place on the
first Tuesday of even-numbered months beginning in April. The first meeting
will be April 7 at 7:00 p.m.
We will discuss the structure of the Federation nationally, statewide and
locally, the board structure in our state, resources available to members,
and lots more. If you are new and are trying to figure out how things work
here in SC or if you are a veteran member but still have lingering
questions, please join us. We welcome your questions.
I will be moderating this forum. If you would like to send questions in
advance of the Federation Foundations meeting, send me an email to
coffeequeensc1 at sc.rr.com <mailto:coffeequeensc1 at sc.rr.com> with Federation
Foundations question in the subject line. If I don't get to your question at
the first meeting, it will be answered later.
The meetings will take place on the NFB of SC platform at 7:00 p.m. Below is
the schedule for the rest of this year.
April 7
June 2
August 4
October 6
December 1
I look forward to seeing you there. Please share with your chapters,
divisions, and other networks.
