Dear Sonia,
Your notification inspired me to send you this response with all sincerity. Would you be or would you allow me to advocate for the Elder Blind & Low Vision consumers through this Company?
This type of help and assistance is not offered through the elder B/LV programs.
I am a recently elder blind consumer. I can enroll & attend the local university in my area for free, as well as, take degree and non/ degree classes due to my age.
I can start a private educational  consulting business from my home, given the proper B/LV skills.
This would be so beneficial since I don’t drive anymore.
I am a retired Certified Career Educator of 33 years. My goals are to stay independent personally and financially, if possible.
 I would appreciate a return  response. Thank you for your consideration,

My name is Stacy Turos and I’m the Marketing & Outreach manager for the Computers for the Blind (CFTB).

Our goal is to build awareness that we are a resource for parents and children. We provide technology and services to the BVI community.

Computers for the Blind (CFTB) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization offering affordable refurbished laptop technology with accessible software; JAWS, ZoomText, or Fusion. Our clients are also eligible for free training with the focus on Keyboard skills and JAWS proficiency.

Exciting News! Computers for the Blind is now selling refurbished iPads. iPads offer freedom and flexibility for “on the go” usage.
