Friday night at the National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina State Convention, it’s time to relax, fellowship, have some fun, and show us exactly who you are!

The category is… SIMPLY ME: BEYOND SIGHT!

Join us for our Friday Night Reception featuring music, fellowship, a photo booth, fun, and a few surprises along the way. So strike a pose, bring your personality, and come ready to enjoy the evening with your Federation family.

Simply Me: Beyond Sight is about showing up as your authentic self and expressing who you are beyond what others may see—or may not see. Your fashion is your statement, and there is no single way to dress for this reception. We want YOU.

Keep it cute and simple, dress it up, dress it down, or experiment with something different. Your look can be streetwear, urban, eccentric, Southern, country, classy, elegant, laid-back, bold, sophisticated, sporty, or a combination that is completely your own. Jeans and clean sneakers? Come on. Boots and a cowboy hat? We see you. A suit or dress that makes you feel like you own the room? Absolutely. Something colorful, creative, or outside the box? Bring it!

Simply Me: Beyond Sight means your style does not have to fit into anyone else’s box. Fashion is more than what someone sees—it can be about how an outfit feels, the texture of the fabric, the sound of your shoes hitting the floor, the confidence it gives you, the memories connected to it, and most importantly, how YOU feel wearing it.

And yes, the photo booth will be ready! Don’t worry about whether you can see the camera. Step in, strike your pose, show your personality, and let the camera do the rest. We want everyone included and enjoying the experience.
