[NFBofSC] Nys deia presentation tomorrow at 7pm

Hi, everyone. My name is Margo Downey and I am the new Chairperson of New York State Affiliate’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Committee.

 

After a hiatus, we’re up and running again.  

 

We celebrate differences and similarities and learn from each other. We will learn about specific groups and holidays and we’ll also have roundtable discussions about general topics related to DEIA.

 

I welcome the Committee who will introduce themselves at our meetings. Our first meeting is on Sunday, February 22 from 7 to 8 p.m.

 

This month, we’ll learn about and talk about Black History month, Ramadan, and Chinese Lunar New year.

 

We have an open forum and we welcome communication from anyone who has something to say. Please be respectful when communicating.
