A recent graduate from North Carolina completed the program, passed her CPACC exam, and was hired by Blind Industries and Services of Maryland in Operations Engineering. Another participant shared, “Last Thursday, I was offered and accepted a full-time Software Accessibility Tester position with QualityLogic. SRUTT was an incredible learning opportunity for me and I would not have been able to qualify for this position without it. And the help and resume feedback I received after graduating were immensely valuable.”

Support the Carroll Center
Thanks to the incredible support from our community, our annual Walk for Independence raised more than $327,000 – and counting! These funds directly support life-changing programs that empower children, adults, and seniors who are blind or visually impaired to build skills, gain confidence, and live more independently. Every dollar raised helps ensure that individuals navigating vision loss have access to the training, technology, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.
There’s still time to make an impact! Donations in support of the Walk will remain open through June 30.
