Dear Federation Family,
The Computer Science & Technology Division (CSTD) of the National Federation
of the Blind of South Carolina (NFB of SC) is pleased to announce an
exciting opportunity for our members. We are now offering NFB of SC members
the opportunity to purchase a yearly subscription to Microsoft 365 (M365).
This program was previously managed by the Federation Center. We appreciate
the leadership of Ed Bible, Chairperson of the Federation Center Board, for
extending this opportunity to the CSTD so we can continue making this
valuable resource available to our members.
In South Carolina, eligible members can receive a full Microsoft 365
subscription for just $60 per year - a significant savings compared to the
standard retail cost of $120-$130 per year.
Your subscription includes:
* Microsoft Word
* Microsoft Outlook
* Microsoft Excel
* Microsoft PowerPoint
* 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage
The subscription may be installed on up to five devices, including
computers, tablets, or smartphones, allowing you to stay productive wherever
you are.
Over the next few weeks, individuals who currently have an active M365
subscription will be contacted to determine whether they wish to continue
under the new annual rate of $60. Moving forward, the CSTD will track each
subscriber's purchase and renewal date. Members will be contacted 30 days
prior to their renewal date to confirm continuation of service. If a
subscription is not renewed by its expiration date, the account will be
removed.
Payments will be accepted through the CSTD PayPal account at
science.tech.div10 at gmail.com <mailto:science.tech.div10 at gmail.com> .
If you have any questions or would like additional information, please
contact Steve Cook at CSTDPresident at nfbofsc.org
<mailto:CSTDPresident at nfbofsc.org> .
We are proud to provide this affordable technology resource to help our
members succeed in their personal, educational, and professional pursuits.
Sincerely,
Computer Science & Technology Division
National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina
