Hello NABS,

Are you interested in learning more about disability rights and advocacy?
If you have heard discussions regarding Texas v. Kennedy and Section 504 but are unsure of their implications for blind students and the broader disability community, we invite you to join us.

The NABS Government & Legal Task Force will host our next DARE Call on Sunday, May 31, at 8:00 PM Eastern via Zoom. This session will feature members of the Judy’s League Board of Directors, a grassroots organization dedicated to raising awareness about current challenges to disability rights.

Topics will include:
· Section 504 and its importance
· The Texas v. Kennedy lawsuit
· Potential impacts on the disability community · Current advocacy efforts · Opportunities for students and advocates to get involved
