[NFBofSC] Rocky Bottom Clean up

I am so excited about the progress being made at Rocky Bottom! A huge thank
you to all who participated including Frank Loza and Glenda Culick as well.
I believe there were others but do not have their names just yet. Together,
we can make the camp a much better place in the future!

Subject: [NFBofSC] Rocky Bottom Clean up

 

Last week, a group went up to Rocky Bottom to do some much needed clean up
of the buildings and grounds. Lead by RBRCCB Vice Chairman, Harold Anderson,
a large amount of outdated mattresses and furniture were cleared out from
under Osterneck Cottage and the Conference Center. Also, Sumter member Karen
Davis helped our resident manager, Jessie Baran, by clearing some overgrown
areas on the grounds. 

Others that came up and helped were NFBofSC First Vice President Lenora
Robertson, RBRCCB Board member Gerald McMurray, Barry Chavis along with his
cousin Richard, and Olivia Anderson. 

 

A special thank you to Gerald for his generous contribution to the capital
improvement projects.
