There were approximately 30 people who met at the Center, and another 14 or so who joined via zoom. This was the month to celebrate fathers.<br>The Pledge of Allegiance was led by David Bundy; the one minute message by Thom Spittle; and the NFB Pledge by David Houck. Andrew Adams provided our devotion, and Ike Nelson Welcomed visitors.<br>Our guest speaker was Frank Coppel. Frank spoke on the history of Father’s Day, wisdom of his father, and his personal prospective as a father of two.<br>In national news, Steve Cook, reminded us to join in on the National Convention next month. <br>On the local scene we were reminded that there will be a van leaving the Center at 12:30 on August 20th going to the State Convention in Charleston. If you wish to ride, you must contact Steve, and pay the $25 fee to Thom Spittle before you are added to the list. <br>Our Trivia question for the month was: How many blind people have climbed Mount Everest? David Bundy provided the correct answer, which was 3.<br>We look forward to seeing you all in person at our July Meeting on July 15th. This change is so we do not conflict with the National Convention.
