Congress is back in session this week. We need to continue to build cosponsor support for the Access Technology Affordability Act (H.R. 431/S. 212). As a quick reminder we are up to 114 cosponsors in the House and 32 in the Senate. This is a terrific accomplishment but we need to do even better in order to increase the likelihood that the ATAA is incorporated into the Build Back Better Act or possibly the omnibus appropriations bill.

At the end of this email is a list of all of the Senate cosponsors followed by a list of all of the House cosponsors. I live in [CITY, STATE]. I would like to urge [SENATOR/REPRESENTATIVE NAME] to cosponsor the Access Technology Affordability Act, S. 212/H.R. 431. This legislation removes an employment barrier commonly experienced by blind Americans who cannot afford the high cost of access technology by creating a refundable tax credit in the amount of $2,000 to offset the cost of this technology.

Thanks."

A current list of Senate and House cosponsors is below.
