People 50+ have worked hard their whole lives — yet, despite having paid into Social Security and Medicare, we live knowing that these bedrock programs are always under threat. And now, with rising costs due to inflation, it's time for Congress to make our concerns a priority.

<strong>Lori, this is our moment: news reports indicate that the Senate is considering a budget proposal that would save Medicare and seniors billions of dollars.</strong> If successful, the deal would allow Medicare to directly negotiate for lower prescription drug prices, cap out-of-pocket costs for Medicare patients at $2,000 per year, and so much more.

To celebrate the anniversary of Medicare on July 30, we’re ramping up the pressure on Congress to make sure this bill passes.
