Our regular gatherings began way back on April 16th, 2020 and because of our loyal attendees, our incredible guest speakers and our long list of interesting topics”, we’re still going strong!<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>We’ve often encouraged folks to show up on Sunrise and Shine with coffee, tea and a bite to eat in hand, but this Thursday, we’re going to try something completely out of the ordinary. We’re going to encourage everyone to bring their own piece of cake…no wait, not exactly…we’re actually going to encourage everyone to make their own cake, while the party is going on. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The cake experiment idea came up during our last SRS call thanks to ideas from Terry, Janeen and Peggy, I’m going to summon enough courage to actually bake a cake while our party is underway. Hope that you will be able to get out to the store and grab the two necessary ingredients before Thursday morning. Here’s a little tip, one of the ingredients is “angel food cake mix”, and the only local store I spotted that in, (on Instacart), was Target. You might have better luck, but hopefully shopping at Target will get you the cake mixes you’d like to use.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:.5in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:.5in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>Ingredients:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:.5in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:.5in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:.5in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:.5in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>Water<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:.5in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:.5in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>1 box of angel food cake mix,<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:.5in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:.5in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>1 box of any flavor cake mix you like, e.g., yellow, white, vanilla, strawberry, pineapple.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:.5in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:.5in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>(make sure the boxes of mix are the same size...it will help a lot if you choose to mix them together)<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:.5in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:.5in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>Recipe: <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:0in;margin-right:.5in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:.5in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>Combine in a large gallon size Ziploc bag, both of the cake mixes.
