The goal of Computers for the Blind is to provide affordable,

accessible refurbished computers and training. We want to make sure

that all have access to technology and are confident in using it.

Our laptops and desktops are an affordable way for individuals with

visual impairments to begin their journey with technology. We

provide a one-year license to JAWS or ZoomText with every computer,

as well as a year of tech-support.</span></div>

the cost of our computers even more. This is possible with the

generous funding from the Communities Foundation of Texas. For

eligible recipients, this grant provides a discount of $75 off our

base prices. This applies to both desktops and

webcam upgrade for desktop, or a wireless keyboard/mouse combo.

This is a great way to get a computer and an upgrade that makes it

Blind to offer other training opportunities, so that we can help

anyone who needs help getting started. Feel free to share our
