Time is somewhat limited for this endeavor, as the House is reportedly starting discussions and beginning to mark up the new tax bill sometime this week. It is imperative that we all call or email our representatives in the House and urge them to cosponsor the Access Technology Affordability Act as soon as possible. We encourage you to mention that Mathematica, an independent and respected economic forecasting company, estimates that the Access Technology Affordability Act will save the federal government $315 million dollars over a five-year period if it is enacted.
