C. this week to advocate for more funding being awarded to programs serving Older Blind people across the country. They are representing South Carolina during this national push to shine sunlight on this long-ignored significant need for those 55 and over. The federal government awards approximately $10 per blind senior per year. I am glad that our affiliate has two individuals who care deeply about this issue.
