Transportation Equity 2018 PLEASE JOIN us October 11th for a day of thoughtful discussion on ways to address barriers to transportation faced by many persons with disabilities and older adults in our communities. Location: Cuyahoga County Public Library-Parma Snow Branch, 2121 Snow Road, Parma Time: 10 – 3. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided.

We are thrilled to have nationally recognized transportation advocate Carol Tyson with us for the day. Carol is the Government Affairs Liaison for DREDF (Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund) in Washington DC where she meets with and informs Congressional and federal agency staff about policy issues which advance legislation benefiting the disability community. Prior to joining DREDF, Carol was Director of Disability Policy for United Spinal Association, serving on numerous task forces and
working with groups to eliminate barriers to transportation and bicycle and pedestrian safety.
