[NFBOH-Cleveland] Attention Cleveland Chapter ---Statewide Legislative Call Wednesday April 24 7PM

Cleveland,

The below email that our State of Ohio Legislative Team sent out needs all
of my Chapter members attention. My hope is to have you on the call to learn
about the bills that were introduced to your Ohio State Officials two weeks
ago. Although, you were not present, that did not prohibit the team or
excluded your district from being represented. The work of the Federation is
on going and we must stay the course.

It is all of our responsibilities to advocate for the rights of all Ohioans
throughout the State. We need you here in the area; as well as you needed
the teams to edify the mission of the organization and how we can together
change what it means to be blind.

So, I am urging you to call in at the time and date that is listed below. I
will keep you updated with the call information. If you have not read the
fact sheets on the three bills, please take time to do so. They are
attached. I expect you to have questions or at least listen to what the
Legislative Team has to update. This information is for all Affiliate
members. Yes, you are included!   

However, if you have questions prior, please reach out to me, Ali, Wilbert,
Theresa, Jim, Regina or Ivory . 

Just send us an email directly or through the ListServe. 

I will send out a blast on tomorrow night with information for those who do
not have email. It will come between 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

William, please reach out to Cecil. And if anyone needs a buddy for the
call, let me know!

Hello NFBO,

On Wednesday April 24 at 7PM, we will be having a Legislative call to
follow-up the work that was done at our Columbus Seminar. We will summarize
the results of the meetings, provide you with updates on the bills as they
stand at that time and discuss the strategies moving forward. We invite
everyone to attend, even if you were not able to participate in Columbus. As
you may have seen in the posts on our email lists, some progress has been
made, and we now have to make the push from our hometowns. 

We will post the ZOOM call information when it is available. In the
meantime, mark your calendar and we will see you on the call on Wednesday at
7PM!
