Good Evening Ohio.

It is with great humility that I thank you for the prayers, phone calls and
well whishes that I have received during my encounter with Mr. Pneumonia and
Mrs. Flue. They captured me at a time that I was quite busy. However, they
slowed me down and forced rest. I did not heed the warnings and kept on
moving. Therefore, my tip for you is to please listen to your body. When it
says stop, please do so. Life is too precious not to listen.

This encounter, brings me to the word "Membership"; which has a lot of
fasets ingrained into its work. As an organization, we march, advocate and
build our membership day-by day- and brick by brick, but it is the
compassion, love and devotion that is physically shown inside and outside of
our circle that is much meaningful. For that, I am grateful to be apart of
the Ohio Affiliate and the Cleveland Chapter. You saw my illness before I
realized. Do not worry, I am beaten, but not broken. Thank you for holding
me up!

We will talk soon.

PS.

Get those National Convention Assistance forms in. Saturday is the last day
for submission.

Be Blessed and well!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
