Ohio Members,

Today, I received an email from one of my members that broke my heart and left me quite emotional.

Often we do not understand why situations occur that leave us with a ponder. The times we are living in often affect individuals in a way that we can not explain or fathom.

I am asking for prayer for ali benmerzouga and his family.

Below is his email to me.

Hello, Suzanne, Richard, Cheryl and William,

This is to sadly inform you that my Dad, Miliani, passed away around 9:30 A.M. this morning due to his deteriorating health and age. He is 89 year old and he lives overseas.

He caught a cold, had some fever and was coughing for two days. According to my brother in Paris/France, he did not die from Corona.

Due to Corona and the lack of traveling means/travel ban, neither my brother nor I can go and attend his Funeral in Algeria.

Also, according to my brother and our religious practices/customs, they will Barry him today, maybe around 1:00 P.M. today, USA Eastern Zone time.

Please keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers.

Ali, I am so sorry for your loss. I am lifting your family up in prayer. If there is anything that the Cleveland Chapter can do, please, please, let us know.

Isaiah 41: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Ali, Though your father’s days were too brief and the grief at his loss is never-ending, we draw comfort from the knowledge that he has found safe refuge in the Lord and in the hearts of those who love him, where no darkness or pain can touch him now.

Be BLESSED and know that God is all knowing and he will provide everything you need!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
