Subject: [Ohio-Talk] Voting at the convention
Ohio,
I know that the leaders will do what was requested of them but it is
equally important that all members provide to the leadership your most
current information. This is an effort to get you to communicate with your
chapter and division presidents and make Shure they have your current phone
numbers.
Dear Chapter and Division presidents,
There are a few items you must begin working on immediately. Please be sure
that I have your most up to date membership list.
Please encourage your members to register for the convention immediately.
Registration is free, so there is no need for delay.
Everyone who is registered for the convention must also register with our
electronic voting system if they want to vote during the convention. They
must provide first and last name and the phone number they will use to vote
from The vote won't count unless it is cast from the registered phone
number. Voting can be done by voice or text using this number.
This is the same procedure used during the national convention.
Please help your members do this.
For questions contact me off list or get in touch with your chapter or
division president.
Richard Payne, President
National Federation of the Blind of Ohio

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
