2021 NFB Career Fair and Career Track Events 


This year, the NFB Employment Committee is pleased to offer the following
events for blind and low-vision job seekers and participating employers. All
times listed are Eastern Time (ET). Note: the only event that requires
pre-registration is the career fair. 


Tuesday, July 6


10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Orientation to 2021 NFB Career Fair


This event is designed to help employers and job seekers prepare for the
career fair. Employers, beginning with convention sponsors, will talk about
their staffing needs. Job seekers will learn how to make the best pitch to
employers. Both will receive last minute information and have their
questions answered.


1:00-4:00 p.m.: 2021 NFB Career Fair


Looking for a job? Looking for an employee? This event brings blind and
low-vision job seekers together with employers who want to hire them.

5:00-8:00 p.m.: 2021 Job Seeker Seminar


Our annual seminar is bigger and better this year, with presenters on a
whole range of topics. New to the job market? Experienced person looking for
better opportunities? Want to know what employers really want? We've got you
covered!  


Wednesday, July 7


11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: 2021 Upward Mobility Seminar


Learning and growth are both keys to human advancement. Don't settle for a
future (or a present) that's limited. This seminar will provide you with
tools to help you live the life you want, and have fun doing it.  


Thursday, July 8


10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: 2021 Employment Committee Meeting


Annual meeting of the NFB Employment Committee: current initiatives, NFB
member and job seeker needs, and future plans. Everyone is welcome!
