We are considerate. We are resilient. We are vibrant.

We have managed to stay connected and find community in the most creative ways.

We have adjusted to the slightest bit of normalcy with grace and understanding. Over the summer, we returned to Highbrook Lodge for day trips and explored various avenues in Cleveland – such as the Holden Arboretum, the Good Time III, and took in an Indians (soon to be the Guardians) baseball game.

We also welcomed folks back to CSC for weekly recreation programming and continued our virtual programs for those who needed them.

Thanks to all of you—campers, clients, volunteers, donors, staff members, friends, family—we had the most successful summer possible.

Because of the incredible foundation we laid together, Leisure & Lifestyle Services and Highbrook Lodge are able to continue to expand our offerings and find new ways to keep our people engaged.

This fall, we’re excited to bring back overnights at Highbrook with the triumphant return of adult Fall Weekend, give old classics like Holidays at Highbrook and Shopping for the Holidays a new twist, and start new traditions like a Fall Adventure Day for youth.

** Highbrook Lodge Updates and News

Please note that all participants of in-person recreation, camp events, or excursions will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination in order to attend. Participants are required to wear masks while indoors at CSC or at Highbrook Lodge, regardless of vaccination status.

The current camp and recreation schedules can always be found by calling the Leisure & Lifestyle Information Line at 216-658-4600. ** Volunteer Corner

A HUGE thank you to the over 30 volunteers who worked with us over the summer! Your genuine enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to jump right in and do what needed to get done helped us provide the best possible opportunities for our amazing clients.

One of our clients had this to say after an excursion to the Botanical Gardens: “This was the most amazing day. The volunteers were so knowledgeable, my fellow clients were rowdy and hilarious, and I cannot think of a better program. Thank you.”

** Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is global day of giving. It’s a movement focused on creating a culture of generosity around the world. This year, Cleveland Sight Center’s Giving Tuesday efforts will be benefiting our own Highbrook Lodge.

We have big dreams for our beloved camp, and we want to be able to provide the best experience to our campers possible.
